Kusanku or Kushanku, the 18th and last kata. Kangu Sakugawa created this kata in honor of his teacher Kusanku. This kata is the most advanced kata of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu. Being the longest kata, it takes years of training to perform this kata well. Even after years of practicing Kusanku, a practitioner will always be learning to improve in techniques of all katas including even the first kata.
