Fukyugata Ni

Description

Fukyugata Ni, the 2nd kata. Sensei Shoshin Nagamine is the creator of this kata. The name Fukyugata means "to popularize." The second kata, was also made along with Fukyugata Ichi because the Pinan katas were too difficult for new students. This kata introduces the moves Ushiro Geiri(back kick) and Chudan Uke(middle block). This kata introduces Jigotai Dachi(horse stance).
